At our last gig, it occurred to me that Edward and I should have costumes. But not cool New Edition costumes. I mean costumes where we're wearing red and gold sequence with big chef's hats. Now, that'd be hot.
So I've added a few new testimonials and some updates to some links.
Edward just showed me his piercing. He is more of a man than I. You should see it, but he'll have to bring you somewhere... private... if you know what I mean...
In other colonizing news, check out the new Trek books from the IKS Gorkon series.
So Filatino is alive again. We will be doing a show in march. A benefit for the Asian American Writers Workshop. Although the whole show probably won't be in the guise of Filatino. Omar and I will at least do one or to piece from the Filatino repetoire, maybe Omar will even show you his new tattoo. Only if you ask him nicely.
Yes, it's true. You Got Served is based on my time spent in a highly affluent, suburban high school. Ah, the good old days. It's a shame that the stories of the privileged bourgeoisie are not universal until you put on the fascade of the inner city.
I have no idea if I am being serious or sarcastic. That's how subversive I am.
So I never blogg to this site, which is only slightly less than I blogg to my own site. But as this is a new year (shut up I know its February). So me and Omar went to see" you got served" cause Omar likes to keep it hood. Also because Omar was the inspiration for one of the characters. (You'll know which one) Apparently Omar was a big part of the breaking and Hip Hop dance circles in Philadelphia where the writer of "you got serve" is from. Who Knew? I sure didn't. But you should never underestimate a Filatino. The next time you see Omar ask him about it. It's a great story.
(Funny side comment. I just did spell check on this entry and Blogg does not appear. It recommended I use Bloch. Maybe they should call this site blocher. No, I just did another spell check blocher isn't there either.)
